Theirs something different indeed. The first case of "the disease" was unknown, and most don't know that dogs like this exist. But one things for sure, their's carriers; those who are unknowingly spreading the disease without any symptoms. It's only a matter of time until a full epidemic is upon us.
The infected may have picked it up from food that had consumed the virus, then lays dormant in the body. Most that start to have the sickness go crazy out of fever and are either left to die or killed out of panic. For now, no real extreme symptoms have been seen. Slowly new victims are popping up, attacking dirtbags, natives, anything with a pulse. Its starting to get concerning.
Theres something the humans aren't showing them, theres something the leaders might not be telling them, and theres something defiantly wrong with the picture. Hopefully it wont be too late to stop this problem in its tracks.
If by chance you get in contact with this disease symptoms aren't fatal just yet. Your character will experience cold symptoms until the illness progresses or you choose to die.
